How coaching works
Every program follows the same three steps, and every one is free to clients.
-
Educate
Build the basics in free workshops and courses: budgeting, credit and saving.
-
Coach
Work one on one with a Financial Wellbeing Coach on a plan built around your own goals.
-
Connect
When you are ready, your coach helps you take the next step with partners and products that fit.
The goal behind every program: 700 Credit Score Communities®.
It began in Los Angeles, in 1992
John Hope Bryant founded Operation HOPE on May 5, 1992, immediately after the civil unrest in Los Angeles that April. He still leads it as Founder, Chairman and CEO.
From that first light, HOPE has grown into a national nonprofit headquartered in Atlanta, with coaches in communities across the country and online.
